NAMM’s health programme is focusing on improving reproductive, maternal and child health aspects. The Health and Nutrition programme approach includes direct health care services, mobilizing stakeholders and communities for change in knowledge, attitude and practices as well as building capacities and providing hand holding support to local service providers.

Skilling is the buzz word in today’s context. NAMM has started engaging with youth, building their skills on different trades and preparing them better for the employment market. NAMM is also providing soft skill training to the youth. Our focus is building skills of young people who belong to socially and economically backward strata of the society

Right to Education is one of the focus areas of NAMM. We look at it from the holistic child rights per-view which includes right to development, protection and participation. We believe that every child has a right to receive quality education and for that Teachers, Communities and Government System has to play a major role.

WHO WE ARE

National Association of Man for Mankind (NAMM) is a registered voluntary organization established in 1993as a youth initiative.

The National Literacy Mission launched in 1988 by the Government of India to make 80 million people literate, was the factor of motivation. The young friends started volunteering to make people literate in their localities, in Dhenkanal district of Odisha.This initiative slowly motivated other educated youth who started joining their hands. The organization started taking a shape and finally registered in 1994.
